Rambutan

Also known as: ランブータン

The fruit of the rambutan tree, in the same family (Sapindaceae) with Lychee. Rambutan is the Indonesian word for hairy, as the fruit appears to have a hairy red shell. Cutting off the shell reveals the white fruit beneath.
