Major My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic villain. She is the queen of the Changelings, a race of pony-like creatures with shapeshifting abilities who feed off love. She initially transforms into Princess Cadance to feed off the love at her wedding.
While the Changelings as a group are eventually reformed thanks to Thorax (My Little Pony), Chrysalis rejects them and plots to regain control of her people.
