Also known as: Q, Q(ジェームズ・ボンド)
A James Bond character. As the Quartermaster (hence his code name), he is responsible for the weapons and gadgets that James Bond uses in his missions.
While originally played by Peter Burton in 1962's Dr. No, he was later played by Desmond Llewelyn starting From Russia With Love and has been the longest running character in the series to be portrayed by the same actor (along with Lois Maxwell who played as Miss Moneypenny) before Desmond's death in 1999 where John Cleese took over as the new Q.
In the new Daniel Craig James Bond movies, Q is played by Ben Whishaw where unlike the previous Qs who were older men, is much younger than Bond.
