Planetes is the story of a group of space garbage collectors and their adventures during their mission of cleaning Earth (Planet)'s orbit of dangerous Spacecraft and Satellite debris.
The series has been praised for its realistic depiction of future Space exploration and the psychological and sociological long terms effects of it.
