Clothing featuring a plaid print. Plaid is a pattern made up of many perpendicular vertical and horizontal lines of two or more colors.
Compared to the uniformity of a checkered pattern, Plaid features distinct irregularity in the width of its lines, and the colors used may not be divided neatly by said lines.
