Pilot Helmet

A modern Helmet worn by Pilots or military aircrew. It largely replaced the leather Aviator Caps used by early pilots. Flight helmets provide impact protection. They often feature a visor, Headset or Microphone for both communication and noise attenuation, mounting system for Night Vision Device and Head-Mounted Display, as well as compatibility with Oxygen Masks.
