Pillar (Landform)

Any landform - either rock or earth - that stands vertically, often spire-shaped, and often naturally formed.

For extremely tall natural 'pillars', see Karst.

Real-life pillar landforms include the <i>hoodoo</i> [1] and <i>tulin</i> [2].
