Also known as: フェニックス一輝
One of the main five Bronze Saints in Saint Seiya.
Like the other four Bronze Saints, he along with 99 other orphans was kidnapped as a child by the Graad Foundation and sent across the world in order to undergo hellish training for seven years and return as a Saint.
In Ikki's case, he was sent to one of the most dangerous training sites of all, Death Queen Island. His time on the island drove him insane and when he returned as the Phoenix Saint, he wanted nothing more than destroy the Graad Foundation and its surviving Saints.
Following their fight within the inner recesses of Mount Fuji, he exhibits a change of heart upon being defeated by Seiya shortly before dying in the ensuing cave-in.
It's later revealed he survived due to the Phoenix Saint's resurrective properties. From then on, he becomes an occasional ally of Athena (Saint Seiya) and her Saints.
He is protective of his younger brother, Shun.
Initially voiced by Hideyuki Hori from 1986-2004 in Japan, then Katsuyuki Konishi from 2005 till date.
