A Dessert, similar to a Sundae, made up of layers of Ice Cream or cream and Fruit and/or fruit gelatin, served in a tall Parfait Glass that makes all layers visible.
Usually eaten with a long-handle Ice Cream Spoon.
Many posts actually refer to the American parfait while the traditional French parfait is made up of custard, cream, and fruit puree.
