A traditional sports rally team in Japan. While it's similar to cheerleading, it places more emphasis on making noise than on any acrobatics.
Common activities include Waving Flags, playing Taiko Drums, blowing Horn (Instrument)s, and Shouting through Megaphones. Ouendan members typically wear Gakuran with long sleeved Coats, Headbands called Hachimaki, an Armband, and sometimes Gloves.
