Also known as: 大幣, 祓串
A Shinto ritual purification wand which resembles a Gohei except with much more paper streamer decorations attached to a wooden staff or sakaki branch. If the staff is hexagonal or octagonal it is a Haraegushi. The oonusa is waved over the person, object or offering in order to transfer the sins and pollutions to it.
