Onsen

Also known as: 温泉, 露天風呂

A Japanese hot spring. The outdoor variety is the kind usually seen in anime, but there are indoor ones as well.

Bathing areas are often divided into women's and men's, although Mixed-Sex Bathing versions exist as well.
