Also known as: オメガモン
Ultimate-level Holy Knight Digimon. Omegamon is the fusion of War Greymon and Metal Garurumon, as displayed by the Grey Sword carried in its left hand and the Garuru Cannon loaded in its right hand. It is a slender, knight-like creature with a White Cape and Blue Eyes.
One of the thirteen Royal Knights who serve Yggdrasill and watch over the laws of the Digital World, Omegamon is often the face of the organization in the constant absence of the group's de facto leader Alphamon. It boasts the title of "Legendary Warrior" (伝説の戦士, Densetsu no Senshi) as proof of its reputation as a mighty combatant. Across a number of appearances, Omegamon has clashed with Dukemon, one of its fellows, over their differing ideals.
Omegamon is referred to as Omnimon in Western localizations, with the sole exception of Digimon World -Next 0rder-'s international release.
Subspecies
- Omegamon X-Antibody: its X-Evolved form.
- Omegamon Zwart: a form attained when Omegamon is exposed to the substance Black Digitron.
- Omegamon Zwart Defeat: a corrupted form of Omegamon Zwart.
- Omegamon Alter-S: a subspecies comprised of Blitz Greymon and Cres Garurumon.
- Omegamon Alter-B: Alter-S's own Black Digitron-infused form.
- Omegamon Merciful Mode: a Mode Change that debuted in Digimon Adventure Tri., assumed when Omegamon took in the power of the other six Chosen Children's partners.
