A bipedal Armored Core Mecha that appears in Armored Core: Nine Breaker and serves as the game's mascot.
It is a recreation of the original Nine-Ball made by an anonymous party, using parts from 3rd generation games.
While it is only called Nine-Ball in-game, some merchandises have called it as Nine-Ball Onyx (ナインボール・オニキス).
Nine-Ball Onyx can be distinguished from other Nine-Balls by its CR-C98E2 core part, which has sharper overall shape than the original, and its head part with two blue slits rather than single red slit. Its emblem is also different as Onyx uses stylized number '9' and without a circle around it, which is also seen in the game's logo.
Armored Core: Nexus has an AC called Baby's Breath, piloted by an AI Code: Crimson, which appearance and weaponry being exactly the same, making them impossible to distinguish from each other.
