About Mp18

Also known as: MP18, ベルグマンMP18

The MP18 (Maschinenpistole 18) was a German Submachine Gun introduced in 1918 during World War I as the primary Weapon of the Stormtroopers, assault troops specialized in trench combat. Often credited as the world's first submachine gun, its design became the basis for most European submachine guns manufactured between 1920 and 1960.

Unlike more modern submachine guns, the MP18 featured a wooden rifle-styled buttstock without pistol grip, and relatively heavy due to thick milled receiver tube. Magazine is inserted on the left, and can accept the 32-round "snail" Drum Magazine designed for the Luger P08.
