Deceased Mangaka (March 8, 1922 – November 30, 2015). He authored GeGeGe No Kitarou, Kappa No Sanpei, and Akuma-Kun, as well as being the pioneer of the yokai manga genre.
He lost his left arm while he fought in New Guinea during World War II.
