A goth subculture that incorporates Military imagery, particularly fashion influenced by Military Uniforms. It is closely associated with techno and industrial music, alongside BDSM subculture. It also shares visual and ideological similarities with Punk.
Music made within the subculture often has lyrics that satirize military actions and that focus on the horrors of war. Some bands associated with the subculture include Miss Construction and KMFDM.
Fashion often includes elements such as Military Hats, Latex and Leather, Buttons, buckles and rivets, Combat Boots, tailored Coats, Epaulettes, and Chains. Wearing actual military insignia is usually avoided, instead commonly being swapped out for symbols such as Skulls and Crosses.
