Use this tag when the hip (the joint between the thigh and the pelvis) is shown to be mechanical. Being covered in mechanical plates or cybernetic markings doesn't automatically make them mechanical (even if the character canonically has mechanical hips like Talia Yang), and shouldn't be tagged as such.
