The Makarov PM (ПМ, Пистолет Макарова) is a Soviet semi-automatic Handgun chambered for 9×18mm cartridge, designed by Nikolay Fyodorovich Makarov. It was adopted by the Soviet Military and police in 1951. The Weapon is compact and features a simple blowback design influenced by the Walther PP.
This tag also refers to its minor variants such as the modernized PMM that uses double-stack magazine.
