While usually marketed as an evil Decepticon, Lockdown is often shown as a bounty hunter who is willing to work for any faction, even Autobots and humans. He is a sentient Alien Robot that typically transforms into a black and green muscle Car in most appearances, although his appearance in the Age of Extinction film depicts his vehicle form as a Lamborghini Aventador instead.
Lockdown's signature weapon is an arm-mounted EMP generator that can be used to immobilize and capture opponents; this weapon is often shown as a trophy taken from Ratchet (Transformers) in a previous fight.
