The memorial dedicated to Abraham Lincoln (Real Life) (1809–1865), 16th President of the United States, which stands on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Can refer to external views of the building itself or depictions of its interior details, most notably the giant Statue of a seated Lincoln, designed by Daniel Chester French and sculpted by the firm of Piccirilli Brothers, that dominates the main hall.
