A 1994 French action thriller movie titled The Professional in the United States and Leon in the United Kingdom and Australia. It stars Jean Reno in the title role as Leon and features Natalie Portman making her film debut at the age of just 12 as Mathilda Lando. It became a surprise hit in Japan and China due to similar themes as many classic Kung-fu movies and a very popular soundtrack CD.
