A Japanese racing driver and team principal of Toyota Gazoo Racing team in World Endurance Championship. Raced in Formula 1 in the years 2009-2012 and 2014 for Toyota, Sauber and Caterham teams. Since 2015 he's actively racing in WEC and Super Formula series exchangeably, winning 13 WEC races, including 2021 24 Hours Of Le Mans race.
