Knighting

Also known as: 騎士叙任式, 骑士受封仪式, アコレード, 册封骑士

A ceremony wherein one is invested with the title of knight. Also known as accolade or adoubement, the person to-be-knighted kneels and the flat side of a knighting sword is tapped upon their shoulders.
