A Tennis No Ouji-Sama character. He is the vice-captain of Fudomine Junior High School's boys' tennis team. He is one of the team's aces alongside his doubles partner and long-time friend, Ibu Shinji.
Though he is overall a good-natured person, he has a belligerent streak that can be seen in his tendency to provoke his opponents prior to matches and his quick response to other people's provocations. He has a strong desire to improve himself and hates to lose. He's been shown to be extremely jealous of boys who are close to his crush, Tachibana An.
