Yutaka Izubuchi (出渕 裕) is a Mecha and character designer for a dizzying array of anime (Gundam, Patlabor, etc.).
He has had a brief stint as a director, creating and directing the Rahxephon anime, and co-directing Yamato 2199. Longtime friend and coworker of Hideaki Anno.
