Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese submarine I-8. Nicknamed "Hachi/Hacchan". Character design by Syobonne, voiced by Misato (Voice Actor).
She has medium-length Blonde Hair in Low Twintails, Blue Eyes framed with Glasses, and Large Breasts. She wears a School Swimsuit with her Name Tag on it along with White Thighhighs and a Peaked Cap.
Sometimes, she will refer to herself as "Acht" ("eight" in German) by mistake. As her historical counterpart made a round trip between Japan and Germany, several of her lines are peppered with German. She is also an avid reader, which is translated as torpedoes launching out of books.
