A large flightless bird used as mounts in the world of Kaze No Tani No Nausicaa. They have black/blue feathers and a large beak.
Yupa has two mated horseclaws named Kai (Kaze No Tani No Nausicaa) and Kui (Kaze No Tani No Nausicaa). In the manga, he gives Kai (Kaze No Tani No Nausicaa) to Nausicaa.
