An oval-shaped Fruit from the same family as Cucumber and Melon, and is traditional food plant in Africa. It has horn-like spines and red to yellow color when ripe. The fruit's taste has been compared to a combination of banana and passionfruit, cucumber and zucchini, or a combination of banana, cucumber and lime.
