Flying dragons in Final Fantasy V. There are two wind drake in the game, both the only of their kind in their respective worlds. One more shows up in the Final Fantasy Legend Of The Crystals. They are the game's logo.
Their Japanese name is Hiryuu (飛竜, "flying dragons"). The PS1 port called them flying dragons, but usually just "dragons". More recent localizations use wind drake.
Guides distinguish them as "Tycoon Castle's" and "Bal Castle's", while fans usually distinguish them as "Lenna's" and "Krile's". Lenna calls hers 飛竜, which in the PS1 port is Dragon, and in later localizations Hiryu.
Lenna's wind drake becomes Phoenix (Final Fantasy).
The one in Legend of the Crystals is known as Tycoon's sacred dragon (守護神, "guardian deity"). It appears as a small dragon but transforms into a giant dragon and flies to the Moon.
