One of the main characters from Star Wars. He was played by actor Harrison Ford in the "Skywalker Saga" movies (specifically the original and sequel trilogies) and by Alden Ehrenreich in his titular spin-off movie Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Han Solo is a galactic smuggler and former Imperial pilot. His Spacecraft of choice is the Millennium Falcon, which he won from Lando Calrissian in a high-stakes card game. Chewbacca is Solo's best friend and partner in crime.
He and Chewbacca were hired by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker on Tatooine to transport them to the planet Alderaan, but those plans soon went awry. Initially only aiding the Rebellion to pay off his debt to the crime lord Jabba, Han shelved much of his cynicism, proved his heroism and became a Rebel leader.

After the defeat of the Galactic Empire (Star Wars) following Episode VI, Return of The Jedi, he became the husband of Leia and the father of Ben Solo a.k.a. Kylo Ren. In Episode VII, he confronts his son to try and turn him away from the Dark Side, but is killed by him.
