A first-year student at L High's Asakusa satellite (Chaki! (Love Live!)). Akira aims to become a climbing pro-athlete, so she enrolled at L High to ensure she had time for practice and training. She prefers the time she spends moving her body by herself over the time she spends with others. Akira is independent, but can be surprisingly careless sometimes.
