21st century Abstract art movement that focuses on the intentional and purposeful use of software Glitches, digital and/or analog damage, compression artifacts and Distortion in order to create a Surreal or unsettling effect. Glitch art is entirely centered around the use of these effects, in contrast with their use as minor visual flairs.
