Also known as: 下駄, 木屐, 齿履, 게타
Traditional Japanese Sandals with a wooden sole raised off the ground by two teeth (called ha), and held onto the foot with a fabric thong (hanao). There is also a specific style called Tengu-Geta, which has only a single peg in the middle.
Not to be confused with Okobo, which are also elevated from the ground, but are made with a single platform running the entire length of the sandal instead of the teeth of the geta.
