He is the protagonist of Babel II.
He is commonly known as Babel II, and in the original manga (or, more precisely, its sequel, His name is One Zero One), his real name is Yamano Kouichi.
His family name was changed in the anime adaptation; in the 1973 version, his family name is Furumi, and in the 2001 version, it is Kamiya.
He is an exceptionally talented Psychic who can wield superhuman physical abilities, Telekinesis, Pyrokinesis, Teleportation, Telepathy, and energy shock wave, among other powers.
In the 1973 version, Kamiya Akira provided his voice; in the 2001 version, Suzumura Ken'Ichi did so; and in the 1992 original video animation, Kusao Takeshi provided his voice.
