Eurasian Tree Sparrow

Also known as: スズメ, すずめ, 雀

A species of Sparrow with a distinctive black patch on its cheeks. It is found throughout most of Europe and Asia, and is the most common sparrow species in Japan.

Scientific name: Passer montanus.
