Lancer-class servant first appearing in Fate/Grand Order's Babylonia (Fate/Grand Order) chapter as an NPC.
In Mesopotamian mythology, Ereshkigal is the ruler of Irkalla, or the land of the dead. She is also Ishtar (Fate)'s sister, which is why she takes on the appearance of Tohsaka Rin's True Appearance with Blonde Hair. Additionally, Ereshkigal's hair becomes very long in her Third Ascension.
She was released as a playable servant during the Meikai No Merry Christmas event. An alternate Beast-class version from the Servant Universe (Fate) known as Space Ereshkigal (Fate) was released for the game's ninth anniversary.
