A boss in Terraria, a giant Worm that tunnels through the Corruption and is made up of many segments. It spawns once for every third Shadow Orb broken in the world.
In Hardmode, a robotic version of it known as The Destroyer (Terraria) appears and unlike the Eater of Worlds is nocturnal and can adapt to non-Corruption terrain.
