A cartoon series based on the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop game. Produced by Marvel Production and Toei Company, it aired on CBS from 1983 through 1985 before being cancelled after three seasons.
The series follow six young children aged 8 to 15 from our world who are transported to the world of Dungeons and Dragons where they are given magical items and weapons by the mysterious Dungeon Master. As the children along with their pet unicorn Uni travel to help others and find a way home, they are chased by the evil wizard Venger and the five headed dragon Tiamat (D&D).
The series was originally planned to end with a fourth season with the children not only finally returning home but also revealed that Venger was the Dungeon Master's son turned evil but series was cancelled after the third season.
