They refer to themselves with feminine first-person pronouns, but they are also referred to by Jodio with the term "onii-chan", a masculine honorific. The tankoubon releases, Young Jump magazine, official website and <i>JOJO magazine</i> refer to them with the term "ani" (兄), meaning "older brother".
