About Dorsiflexion (Wrist)

Bending the wrist far backward, either by means of letting it fall backwards limply, or having it pressed up against something. The opposite of Palmar Flexion.

Usage examples

  • "No thanks"; "I don’t want it" gesture.
  • Rejection; "Go away" gesture.
  • Indicating towards something. (Note that in Japan, Pointing with one's finger may be considered rude, so using the whole hand is a polite/formal alternative).
  • "Effeminate poses"; Girly Running, Girly Boy, etc.
  • "Why?" gesture.
  • "Rebellious", "bratty" body language; Mesugaki and Osugaki.
  • "Give it to me" gesture.
  • Beckoning; "come here".
  • "Hand shrug" / "I don't know" gesture; confusion.
  • Stretching poses (e.g post #4390381).
  • Shading Eyes.
