Enemies from the Helldivers (Series) series.
They are a race of mechanically-modified humans who built a socialist empire on the planet Cyberstan. They were defeated during the first galactic war over a century ago where they are forced to work on the mines of Cyberstan.
The Automatons, their descendants, have rose to power during the second galactic war, reclaiming Cyberstan and the other planets from the Valdis Sector, liberating their ancestors.
They have since been active in Cyberstan.
