A type of durable mat made from self-healing plastic that is less damaging to blades than cutting into hard surfaces. They are designed for activities such as model building, Sewing, and other arts and crafts. Most cutting mats are green or black and have grid patterns to facilitate measuring lengths and angles of the materials being cut.
