Corona Borealis (the Northern Crown) is a small Constellation located in the Northern celestial hemisphere. Its brightest star is Alphecca. The constellation has a southern counterpart, Corona Australis (Constellation) (the Southern Crown).
Corona Borealis consists of seven connected stars resembling the letter u. In rare cases, it can also be made up of six stars.
