A type of broad, tapering Short Sword or large Dagger used during the Italian renaissance in the 15th and 16th Centuries. 'Cinquedea' means 'five fingers,' which refers to the number of fullers (grooves in a blade to reduce weight) they often had, though some specimens have three or four.
