A near-extinct species of bird-like humanoids in the Metroid universe. They raised Samus Aran when she lost her parents and are responsible for the creation of her Power Suit (Metroid) and many of its Power-Ups, as well as Mother Brain and the eponymous Metroid (Creature)s.
