Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a 1964 children's novel by British author Roald Dahl. The story features the adventures of the boy Charlie Bucket inside the chocolate factory of the eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka.
It has been adapted to film several times, first as Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (1971), then as Charlie And The Chocolate Factory (2005) (2005), and finally as Wonka (2023) (2023).
