Chaperon Hat

A kind of Hat or Turban worn in Medieval Europe. There's a variety of styles, though for the most part, they have designs with a thick, floppy brim. Later styles may use a stiff, ring-shaped bourrelet (or rondel) in place of its brim. Sometimes decorated with a feather.
