Glasses with an upswept rim at the outer edges where the temples or arms join the frame front. Cat-eye glasses were popular in the 1950s and 1960s among women.
They are somewhat teardrop shaped, but do not confuse this with Teardrop-Framed Glasses. They are rounded towards the nose, and pointed at the eyewear's legs. They are somewhere between Round Eyewear and Triangular Eyewear.
