Cannonball (Dive)

A type of dive in which the diver jumps as high as possible and curls into a tight ball, aiming to make the biggest possible splash on impact with the water. Often prefaced by shouting the maneuver's name in midair. Obviously of no value in competitive diving, and usually associated with boisterous clowning around rather than serious pool use.
